House-Hasson Merchandising VP Dies at Age 58

Winn-USEGerald Allen Winn Jr., House-Hasson Hardware’s vice president of merchandising, died Sunday at age 58.

Winn had worked for 32 years for House-Hasson, which is a regional hardware distributor headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was known throughout the hardware industry for his personality and ability, House-Hasson president Don Hasson says.

“This is a tremendous loss both for his family and for his House-Hasson family,” Hasson says. “Allen leaves a great legacy, and we’re privileged to have known him and to have worked with him.”

Winn is survived by his wife, Karen Sigmon Winn; son Weston Winn; step-son Clay Sigmon; parents Gerald and Loretta Winn; grandchildren Caleb, Jackson and Sadie; and sister Leann Godsey.
