3 Camping Products to Improve Your Outdoor Living Category

In 2023, over 15 million Americans went camping for the first time, according to the 2023 Camping Report from The Dyrt, a campsite booking app. Hardware stores provide a unique crossover between customers coming in for nuts and bolts and those coming in for camping supplies. From hand tools and workwear to outdoor grills and cooking accessories, hardware stores are able to offer a variety of products to attract outdoorsy customers.

Outdoor Cooking

The Versatop 2X from CampChef is a flattop griddle that is compatible with CampChef’s 16-inch accessories. The flattop is made of seasoned, nonstick cast iron, and the griddle comes in a carrying bag for transportation and has four adjustable legs.

The Cascade Classic Camping Stove from The Coleman Company is portable, easy-to-clean and provides 20,000 BTUs of cooking power. The stove includes two wind guards and can fit a 12-inch or 10-inch pan. Used with a 16-ounce propane cylinder, the stove can cook for up to one hour.

Coolers

The M30 Tote Soft Cooler from YETI can fit up to 42 cans and up to 32 pounds of ice. The soft-sided cooler comes in multiple colors and includes YETI’s re-engineered extra-wide mouth top so the cooler will stay opened when loading or unloading food and drinks.

The RollR 80 Wheeled Cooler from RovR includes 80 quarts of storage capacity. The cooler has two wheels that can be re-aired or patched if a hole appears. The cooler comes in multiple color options and is compatible with RovR’s cooler accessories.

Outdoor Furniture

The Comfort Pro Rocker from GCI Outdoor is an outdoor chair with a taller backrest and features GCI’s Spring-Action Rocking Technology made for tailgating, picnics and more. The chair has a powder-coated aluminum and steel hybrid frame, phone pocket and drink holder.

The Quik-Fold Side Table from Adams Manufacturing is a portable table weighing only three pounds, with the ability to support up to 25 pounds. The table features Adams’ Lock-N-Place technology so the table will not separate when in use.
