Plumbing and Electrical Store Introduced at Handy Hardware Spring Market

Handy Hardware introduced its new Plumbing and Electrical Store at its Spring Market, held Feb. 13-15 in Houston. The Plumbing and Electrical Store offered more than 1,000 planograms from key suppliers and allowed dealers the opportunity to better understand new product and refresh programs.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the first day of our Spring Market. Dealer and vendor attendance was up and the response we had to our Plumbing and Electrical Store planogram program was incredible,” Handy CEO Doug Miller said. “The feedback from our dealers regarding our high fill rate, new rebate program and the new Retail Pricing System was extremely positive.”

Handy customers had two hours to take advantage of the special offers before the general market opened. During this week’s market, dealers and suppliers were able to visit with the Handy management team, and that of their parent company, Hardware Holdings.

“We are delighted with the response and support from our dealers and vendors for our Spring 2014 Market.  We are confident that our dealers will see the benefits of Handy Hardware’s Profit Plus initiative focused on helping our dealers profitably succeed with their customers,“ Hardware Holdings President and CEO Donald Devine said.

Handy’s Spring Market offers nearly 500 booths of products from hundreds of suppliers. Dealers will be able to see all of the newly expanded product listings, make promotional plans and purchases from the pallet area, receive special dating, cash spiffs and booth specials, as well as have the opportunity to discuss market trends with vendors, factory representatives, and other dealers.
