Hitek Truss, a manufacturer of high-quality roof and floor trusses serving builders throughout Florida, has announced the appointment of Ronald Guzman as general manager.
Guzman brings engineering expertise, operational leadership and project management experience to his role at Hitek. Guzman began his career with Bancolombia, one of Colombia’s largest multinational banks, where he served in process engineer and project implementation lead roles. Most recently, Guzman served with American Builders Supply, a Kodiak Building Partners company, where he led the successful launch of a new truss manufacturing facility in the Tampa area and served as its general manager.
“As general manager, Ronald will play a key role in strengthening the day-to-day operations while continuing to focus on our associates’ growth and putting customers first,” says Marty Stiffler, vice president of business development for Rival. “We are excited to see the positive impact that he will have with the entire Hitek team.”
As general manager, Guzman will oversee daily operations, support continued team development and help drive strategic initiatives that strengthen Hitek’s ability to serve customers throughout Florida.
“This is the second opportunity in my career to help start a truss plant from zero, which is something very special to me,” Guzman added. “After helping launch a new plant in the Tampa area a few years ago, I am excited to do it again with the Hitek team as we prepare for the new Palmetto location. I look forward to contributing my experience, supporting the team and helping build a strong operation for this next stage of growth.”
