FastenMaster Supports ToolBank Disaster Relief Efforts

FastenMaster, a division of OMG Building Products, has donated $475,000 worth of its MVP Multipurpose Wood Screws through the Home Depot Foundation to support ToolBank Disaster Services, joining previous donations to Habitat for Humanity and several local high school vocational programs. ToolBank is a national nonprofit organization that provides tools, equipment and expertise for disaster relief and assistance in communities throughout the country.

The donation is part of the company’s commitment to provide fasteners wherever needed most, whether to help those in need after a disaster or to teach the next generation of PRO contractors.

“We are proud to support ToolBank through the Home Depot Foundation and Habitat for Humanity,” says David Ellis, FastenMaster vice president of sales and marketing. “We expect that the 2.5 million fasteners donated to those two organizations will go a long way towards helping those in need. In addition, it’s critical that vocational high school students have an opportunity to practice actual building techniques with the real-world products top pros use.  We are pleased to support that effort at the local level.”
