What is your proudest moment as part of the independent channel?
My proudest moment has been creating opportunities for team member development and helping the company grow in total.

 

What is your favorite part of your job?
I most enjoy being an influencer and empowering others to succeed.

 

What is the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever been given?
The best piece of advice I’ve been given is, “It is more fun to manage change than to let it manage you.”

 

How do you stay involved in the community?
I stay involved by volunteering through school and community events.

 

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A police officer.

 

What do you do for fun when you’re not working?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy home improvement projects, woodworking and backpacking.

 

Why did you agree to become an NHPA Ambassador? What have you enjoyed the most in your relationship with the association? Any events, programs, training courses, etc.?
NHPA brings awareness, value and development opportunities to the independent home improvement channel. Through training opportunities and content, the NHPA training programs have provided us with an easier lift around project knowledge and leadership training.
