Battery-powered lawn mowers are gaining popularity as many consumers are looking to make the switch to a more eco-friendly and low-maintenance alternative to outdoor power tools. One aspect of battery-powered tools that many consumers haven’t heard about yet is robotic lawn mowers. 53% of consumers are aware of robotic mowers, yet only 3% have purchased one, according to the Consumer Attitudes on Battery study from The Farnsworth Group.
Hardware Retailing has gathered four battery-powered, robotic lawn mowers for you to consider bringing to your shelves to get them in front of your customers looking to make the switch from gas to battery-powered.
- The Navimow X3 from Segway is a robotic mower that can be set up without wiring and can map a yard using its AI-assisted 3D camera. This robotic mower monitors forecast conditions, can be controlled through multiple smart home devices and is equipped with a quiet motor.
- The S1 Remote Control Lawn Mower from Mowrator is a 4-wheel drive robotic mower that can mow up to a 75% slope. This mower can cut o.5 acres per hour and has a 21-inch cutting width. The S1 has a 135-minute runtime and can recharge in 90 minutes or less.
- The optimow® 25 from Greenworks is a fully automatic robotic lawnmower designed for ¼ acre lots. The mower has an average cut time of 150 minutes, charges in 270 minutes and can be programmed to cut on a schedule, while charging as needed.
- The Automower® 430X from Husqvarna can cut a 0.08 acre lawn at slopes up to 45%. The mower features an electric height adjustor and can change its cutting schedule based on weather and lawn growth rate.
