2 Clothing Items to Stock for Women in Construction

Women’s employment in construction has seen a slight increase from 2016, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. The share of all women in construction increased from 12.5% in 2016 to 14.3% in 2024. With the number of women on the job site increasing, it’s important to think about how your store can stock work clothing items made for them.

Work Pants

The Rebar Hi-Vis ANSI T-Shirt from Ariat is constructed for high visibility and sun protection. It’s made of a jersey-knit base layer and has segmented reflective tape for workers routinely exposed to low visibility while on the job. The shirt comes in two colors, has two fit sizes and comes in sizes XS to 3XL.
