True Value Announces 2022 Paint Colors of the Year

True Value Company has unveiled its 2022 paint colors of the year: Elm Street (4F18) and Brilliant Berry (7A6).

“Elm Street is a mid-tone, soothing and timeless grayed green,” says John Vanderpool, divisional president at True Value Manufacturing/General Paint Manufacturing. “With its ability to work alongside a spectrum of shades in our color groupings, it will set the tone for any space from a home office to a cozy reading nook or even a remodeled kitchen. It’s a classic and refreshing choice for a neutral and can blend perfectly with so many other accents and hardware.”

“Brilliant Berry is a blue-red hue that coordinates well with lots of other colors,” Vanderpool continues. “You can use it to create a strong accent wall in a bedroom or entryway. Brilliant Berry is a bold choice that is definitely uplifting and cheerful.”

Along with its colors of the year, True Value has released its 2022 Color Trend Story and Trend color card. The Trend Story conveys the message of health, happiness and hope and is supported by the card, which features 36 colors offering a complete palette to recommend as pairings for this year’s spotlight colors.
