Tractor Supply Co. has opened its 1,900th store in the U.S. Located in Oakhurst, California, the new store is close to areas impacted by recent wildfires, and Tractor Supply is donating $50,000 to organizations battling the blazes.
“With the opening of the 1,900th Tractor Supply store, we’re excited to continue to expand our footprint. As we have for more than 80 years, we look forward to continuing to evolve and grow,” says John Ordus, Tractor Supply’s Executive Vice President, Chief Stores Officer.
The new store features many of the shopping features customers have come to expect from retailers during the COVID-19 pandemic, including contactless shopping. It also features same-day delivery and a pet washing station. It is the 72nd Tractor Supply store in California.
Earlier this year, the company posted record-breaking sales and announced plans to hire thousands of new workers.
