The Home Depot Expands Pro Delivery Network

The Home Depot recently announced the opening of its newest flatbed delivery center (FDC) in Westminster, Massachusetts. As the company’s 18th FDC, this facility will help deliver oversized and bulk products faster and more efficiently to jobsites.

The 1.1-million-square-foot center delivers bulk orders directly to job sites, removing the need for professional contractors and builders to transport project materials themselves.

“A Pro’s most valuable asset is their time, so we’re continuing to expand our flatbed delivery network to get heavy materials to more job sites faster and more efficiently,” says Michael Rowe, executive vice president of Pro for The Home Depot. “It’s critical that our Pros can rely on fast, reliable delivery so they can get the materials they need, when and where they need them—keeping crews on-site and projects on schedule.”

This FDC uses a variety of digital and financial business tools, including order management and delivery services, trade credit, sales support and digital project tools.
