C2 Paint Names Pueblo as 2027 Color of the Year

C2 Paint has named Pueblo (C2-510) its 2027 Color of the Year, a nuanced, warm hue made of earth, rose and brown tones. Pueblo leads Rural Renaissance, C2’s 2027 color story, evoking the idea of rediscovering curiosity, creativity, appetite and the experiences that activate senses.

After years focused on quiet, retreat and renewal, C2 sees a growing desire for what comes next. The Rural Renaissance color story is about that reawakening.

“We’ve all been in a period of restoration and renewal, so we asked ourselves: What comes next? We re-engage. We rediscover what inspires us, activates our senses and brings color back to our cheeks,” says Philippa Radon, interior designer and C2 Paint color specialist. “There is something distinctly human about Pueblo. It refuses to be just one thing. There is an earthen quality, but also rose. Brown softened by warmth. In one light it feels muted and grounded; in another, its rosy undertones come forward. Morning, afternoon and evening each reveal something different. That complexity is what drew us to it.”

Pueblo is joined by Death by Chocolate, Ambrosia and Element, three colors that reveal different aspects of the Color of the Year.

Pueblo (C2-510) is the warm center of the palette, bringing warmth to cooler colors, softness to deeper shades and character to quieter ones.

Death by Chocolate (C2-805) is a dark, coffee brown that evokes the rosy warmth of Pueblo.

Ambrosia (C2-529)  is a pale, peachy shade that brightens Pueblo’s rose undertones.

Element (C2-685) is a quiet, mineral green that provides balance and allows Pueblo’s warmth to come forward.
