Spoga+gafa, the world’s largest garden and barbecue trade fair, has announced the key theme for 2024 will be “Responsible Gardens.” The event will take place June 16-18, 2024, in Cologne, Germany, and will focus on responsible and sustainable processes, services and products in the garden and barbecue industries.
“The focus of the topic is the responsibility the green industry bears regarding the role the garden plays in society,” says director of spoga+gafa Stefan Lohrberg. “Together with our exhibitors and visitors, spoga+gafa will find the answers to these questions.”
Each year since 2017, the key theme for spoga+gafa has addressed current industry developments and socially-relevant topics, creating a coherent experience for the exhibitors and visitors. Next year’s event and its key theme of “Responsible Gardens” will showcase resource-saving gardening, fairly produced garden products, low-emission barbecue technologies, climate-friendly garden care and irrigation and a responsible rapport between garden owners.
“The more responsibly we treat private green spaces, the more socially- and personally-relevant our gardens, balconies and terraces will become,” Lohrberg says.
