Builders FirstSource Opens New Colorado Facility

Builders FirstSource recently celebrated its new 185,000-square-foot facility located on 40 acres within Rocky Mountain Rail Park in Bennett, CO, at an open house event on Sept. 29, 2026. Builders FirstSource customers, supplier partners and team members, as well as representatives from Adams County, took part in facility tours, lunch and prize drawings.

More than 100 full-time BFS team members working at the new site serve homebuilder customers with manufactured components such as roof trusses, floor trusses and wall panels in addition to lumber and other building materials.

“At Builders FirstSource, everything we do is centered on providing extraordinary service to our customers,” says Mike Hiller, chief operating officer. That is why we continue to invest in facilities that enable us to provide homebuilders in growing areas such as the communities east of Denver and across the Colorado Front Range with the products, services and support they need to build quality homes more efficiently. We are grateful to the teams at Adams County, Union Pacific and Patriot Rail for their partnership on this project. Together, we’re strengthening the infrastructure and connections that will help us better serve builders in these communities for years to come.”
