Ogden & Adams Building Solutions recently announced it is acquiring the assets of Maquoketa Lumber Company, based in Maquoketa, and Bellevue Lumber, based in Bellevue, Iowa. Following the acquisitions, Ogden & Adams will have five locations serving Eastern Iowa.
“We are excited to welcome the customers and staff of Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber to Ogden & Adams,” says Marty Hoeger, owner of Ogden & Adams. “Both companies place a high value on customer service and delivering quality products to our customers.”
Maquoketa and Bellevue specialize in lumber packages, millwork, siding, roofing, windows and doors. All staff will remain at Ogden & Adams following the acquisition and continue operations under the stores’ current flagship names.
“The addition of these great companies and its experienced and talented staff expands our service offering, our sales footprint and increases our buying power. The team at both Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber bring significant industry experience and skillset. Together, we are more than 40 employees and have the capabilities and assets to conduct significantly more business in Eastern Iowa,” Hoeger says.
