Relive NHPA On the Road Pacific Northwest Adventures on Social Media

Do you enjoy learning about independent home improvement businesses? Do you like mountain views and ocean scenes? There is no need to pack your bags to experience this if you need a quick fix. Instead, grab your smartphone, tablet or computer and make sure you’re following the North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA) on Instagram and Facebook, where we will share photos and videos from our most recent NHPA On the Road adventures.

In late January, retail engagement specialist Renee Changnon, associate editor Carly Froderman and digital media specialist Kevin Trehan visited businesses in the Pacific Northwest for the association’s first NHPA On the Road adventure of 2023. While trips began in an official capacity in 2022, the association has been traveling and visiting independent retailers in their stores since its conception.

During the most recent trip, the team made sure to document all of the stores they went to, highlighting eye-catching endcaps, learning unique history from owners, discovering the coolest new products and even sitting down for a beer and lunch inside a hardware store. Starting Monday, Feb. 6, you can tune in to these adventures on NHPA’s Instagram stories and Facebook stories. If you miss a day, you can still see them on the highlights section on Instagram.

More content is scheduled to be released from this trip and previous trips on the NHPA On the Road landing page and within our magazines and podcast in the months to come. Follow our social media platforms now to be the first to gain inspiration and fulfill any travel dreams you may have.

Would you like your operation to be featured in a future NHPA On the Road trip? Fill out this form or email rchangnon@yournhpa.org and we may make plans to visit your business in the future.
