McCoy’s Building Supply recently announced it broke ground and began construction on a retail location near Canyon Lake, Texas. Located in the Mystic Shores community, the store will be McCoy’s 86th location.
“I am excited for McCoy’s to become part of the Canyon Lake/Spring Branch community serving the families, contractors and businesses that make this area so special,” says Corey Elmore, regional manager for McCoy’s San Antonio-area locations. “As Canyon Lake continues to grow, we’re proud to expand alongside it, and we’re looking forward to helping our customers with projects of every size for years to come.”
McCoy’s Building Supply worked closely with members of the Mystic Shores Property Owners Association and the Native Plant Rescue Project before land clearing started. Twelve volunteers from the organization relocated over 125 native wildflowers and yuccas of 30 different species that will be replanted at multiple sites including Winding Branch Ranch, the Trail Conservancy and the Headwaters at the Comal.
“The Canyon Lake store expands our growing network of strong Central Texas locations and strengthens our ability to serve both existing and future customers throughout our home region,” says Reid McCoy, board vice chairman. “Through both the local community and seasonal visitors, we look forward to establishing long-term relationships with our Born-to-Build® customers in the community.”
