Lowe’s Cuts 600 Corporate and Support Jobs

Lowe’s recently cut approximately 600 jobs from both corporate and support roles, citing a shift in focus to in-store employees.

“This step helps better align our resources to support our stores and the associates who serve customers every day,” says a company spokesperson.

The company says employees who were affected will receive financial assistance.

Other major retailers have made sweeping layoffs in recent months, including Home Depot and Amazon.
