Hartville Hardware & Lumber Acquires Coshocton Lumber Company

Hartville Hardware & Lumber recently announced its acquisition of lumber supplier, Coshocton Lumber Company. Hartville Hardware president Scott Sommers says he hopes the acquisition will drive future growth in the store’s lumber category. Coshocton Lumber will continue to operate under its current name and keep its existing staff.

“This purchase allows us to take our purpose of serving and providing for others and expand it into the Coshocton community,” Sommers says. “Coshocton Lumber’s long-standing reputation for excellence complements our values and vision for the future, and we are grateful to be stewards of this great company.”

Joel Jumper, owner of Coshocton Lumber, says he looks forward to the acquisition.

“We’re excited to join forces with Hartville Hardware,” Jumper says. “This transition of ownership will open up new opportunities for growth, while continuing the legacy we’ve built over the years.”
