GMS Expands in South Texas

Gypsum Management & Supply (GMS) announced its acquisition of Central Materials, a stucco, stone, EIFS and masonry distributor that operates two locations in South Texas’s Rio Grande Valley.

Additionally, Central Materials and their strong vendor relationships in stucco, EIFS, and cladding products will help unlock access to an expanded product portfolio throughout South Texas.”

Central Materials and its team will continue operating under their current name and branding, while Cesar Guzman and Alejandro Barrera, Central Materials’ founding partners, will continue managing the business for the foreseeable future, operating in close collaboration with GMS’s Southwest Division leadership.
