Choosing an Expansion Route

Your business should always be growing, or it will eventually die. What questions should you ask when you think you about expansion? And which route should or can you go? These topics and more were covered in Hardware Retailing‘s October issue that focused on expansion route options and provided examples of retailers that have grown over the years from one to two or more stores.

Consider different approaches to growth. Can you expand your existing store? Can you add a second or third location? Can you find other existing stores to buy?

This PDF suggests further questions you should think through when you plan for your business’s future.
