The Hardware Retailing editorial team browsed the show floor and selected some of their favorite products that could make strong additions to your store shelves.

Convert a Bench | Convert a Bench
Designed to work as either standalone seating or a full-size picnic table, the convertible bench weighs 36 pounds, making it easy to move around a yard or put away when it’s not needed. Made from polypropylene and vinyl, it features injection-molded components and extruded planking and comes with a five-year warranty. The bench measures 59 inches wide, with a smaller 35-inch chair version also available. Nine colors are offered, including the popular espresso finish.
“I love the versatility here. At 36 pounds, you can easily move or store the benches, use them separately most of the time and then bring them together when you need a full picnic table.”
Duck Fat Spray | Cornhusker Kitchen
Cornhusker Kitchen Duck Fat Spray brings duck fat to an easy-to-apply spray format for cooking indoors or out. The savory cooking fat can be used on grills and smokers, for searing steaks, cooking eggs, fish and vegetables or spritzing french fries before putting them in an air fryer. The company says the product is now sold in about 19,000 brick-and-mortar stores and is also used by barbecue and steak-cooking competitors.
“I discovered Duck Fat Spray during the pandemic, when I was doing a lot more cooking, at a specialty kitchen store. Talking with the company rep at the Do it Best market opened my eyes to how versatile it is—from grilling steaks to spraying fries before they go into the air fryer. It really improves the flavor and I’ve had better luck searing with it than I have with canola oil.”
6006 Joker XS/S Self-Setting Double Spanner | Wera
Wera’s 6006 Joker XS/S combines multiple wrench sizes into one compact, double-ended tool. Its self-setting parallel jaws automatically adjust to hex bolts and screws from seven to 13 millimeters and ¼ to ½ inch. A lever mechanism grips the fastener to reduce slipping and damage, while ratcheting functionality allows users to keep working without removing the wrench. A 30-degree return angle helps reach fasteners in confined spaces.

Child Safety Products | Baby Proof Me
Baby Proof Me offers child-safety products including cabinet and drawer locks, outlet covers, safety straps, corner protectors and safety gates, with products also designed for households with seniors and pets. Its magnetic cabinet lock can be installed with pre-applied adhesive or screws and uses a magnetic key to release the lock while keeping the hardware concealed inside the cabinet. Other products include adjustable safety straps, keyed outlet covers and mesh safety gates reinforced with fiberglass ribs.
“With our newest grandbaby, I’m going to be adding some of these around our house and recommending them to parents. I like that they keep kids out of places they shouldn’t be while still looking good and being easy for adults to operate. That combination of safety, design and practicality really caught my attention.”
M12 Handheld Broadcast Spreader | Milwaukee Tool
Milwaukee Tool’s M12 Handheld Broadcast Spreader provides cordless, one-handed application of grass seed and other granular materials. The brushless spreader offers three throw-distance settings of two, four and six feet, five dispersion-gate settings and a side deflector for greater control around targeted areas. Its hopper holds enough material to cover up to 2,000 square feet, while the compact handheld design provides an alternative to traditional wheeled spreaders.
“After seeing this at the Power Preview, I should have brought one for my sister. She was reseeding some trouble spots in her lawn that she had aerated and didn’t want to keep walking over. I like being able to control exactly where the seed goes, and when the job is done, this takes up a lot less garage space than a traditional two-wheeled spreader.”

“What first drew me to these towels was their great, eye-catching branding, but then learning about the towels and how the formula for the cloth was developed for the South Korean military for use behind enemy lines, they became even cooler. I work outside quite a bit in my free time, mowing the grass and tending to my garden, and these towels would be perfect for wiping my hands and feet off before walking back into my house.”

The Raspberry Jalapeño Salsa from Galena Canning Company combines fresh raspberries with jalapeño peppers for a sweet and spicy flavor. The 16-ounce salsa can be served with chips, vegetables and salads.
“The Galena Canning Company booth had too many salsas, jams and sauces to pick just one, but after sampling every offering, this salsa takes the crown. It was sweet, with a strong raspberry taste and a very subtle jalapeño kick.”

The Everyday 40 oz. Tumbler from Outsider is a stainless steel tumbler with a 40-ounce capacity and double-wall vacuum insulation. It features a spill-proof flip lid, stainless steel straw, 180-degree rotating handle and tapered base designed to fit most cup holders.
