The Do it Best Foundation hosted its fifth annual Fore the Cause golf tournament, raising a record-breaking $1.36 million to support nonprofits nationwide and surpassing its goal of $1.25 million.
In addition to breaking its fundraising goal, Do it Best Foundation also hosted a record number of 460 golfers, who included Do it Best suppliers, vendors and partners. The tournament, which was held across four golf courses in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supports the Foundation’s mission to fund nonprofit organizations and agencies that serve children, families and underserved communities nationwide.
“This event continues to grow in both impact and enthusiasm each year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our partners and community,” says Curtis Smith, executive director of the Do it Best Foundation. “What makes it even more meaningful is that every dollar raised comes into Fort Wayne and is then distributed to incredible nonprofit organizations serving communities locally and across the country. It’s a powerful way to give back and a beautiful picture of collective generosity.”
At the kickoff event, the Do it Best Foundation unveiled a new logo and website. The Foundation remains focused on its mission to support nonprofit community organizations dedicated to serving others, with a special emphasis on four key areas: health and wellness, youth enrichment, the arts and community development.
Since its founding in 2019, the foundation has awarded nearly $2 million in grants to organizations across the country.
