Dealers Treated to Enhanced Experience at the House-Hasson Summer Dealer Market

The Smoky Mountains were the backdrop for House-Hasson’s summer buying event, The Hardware Exchange Dealer Market, where attendees were treated to a celebratory and enhanced market experience, with something for everyone at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Along with product discounts, drop-ship deals, networking opportunities and the show’s signature Bonus Buy specials, dealers and family members enjoyed two days of celebrating the 120th anniversary of House-Hasson serving dealers.

“We’ve had a really great show, it was exciting to have everyone come together. We love our brands, we love our dealers, it was like one big family coming together for what was our second largest show ever,” says president and CEO Jeff Land. “During this 120-year celebration, we want to continue to focus on growing together, building success and strengthening partnerships for the future.”

The Dealer Market included more vendors—over 500, including more than 30 new vendors—than any summer market with a rearranged show floor that made it easier to navigate and find boots. Attendees were also treated to more show specials than ever before and the launch of Power Buys, offering discounts of 50% or more on certain products.

“Attendees were able to engage with House-Hasson’s history, people, vendors and program in new ways, including enhanced displays and activities to dealer recognition moments,” says Erin Webb, House-Hasson director of marketing. “We offered a kids-only buffet at lunch and hosted a Puppy Meet and Greet with dogs and puppies from the local humane society.”

During the show, dealers had the opportunity to sit down with the House-Hasson team to talk through their business and operational areas, including IT support and systems, marketing and digital programs, new stores, remodels and conversions, credit and financial services and merchandising and category support.

Dealers also spent time with vendors to plan for the upcoming holiday and winter selling seasons. House-Hasson is focusing on expanding in the pet health and wellness category, and this dealer market introduced dealers to new vendors and products.

“The Dealer Market was about more than just the deals,” says Matt Patti, vice president of purchasing. “On the market floor, dealers spent time with vendors, asked questions, evaluated new products and programs and made informed decisions before heading into some of the most important selling months of the year.”

Mitchell Spyres, account manager for Spyder, was excited to share some of the new products the company was offering to House-Hasson dealers, and was impressed by the amount of traffic at this market.

“There was an amazing energy on the market floor, and it was great to welcome nearly 70 new dealers to see what House-Hasson is about,” says Dave Doering, senior vice president of sales. “The market was the perfect setting for creating and building relationships that make everyone stronger.”

The next House-Hasson Dealer Market will take place Jan. 28-30, 2027 at the Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
