Apple Pay an Option at Sunshine Ace Hardware Locations

Since Apple introduced Apple Pay, a new mobile payment option for consumers, buzz about the new technology has been huge. For consumers with Apple Pay installed and ready to use on their mobile devices, an independent home improvement retailer in Florida has the technology to accept this new form of payment.

According to News Press, Sunshine Ace Hardware, which has six locations in Florida, has one Apple Pay terminal at each store. Michael Wynn, president of the chain, says mobile payment will likely not take over the majority of sales for a while, but adopting early to provide a better shopping experience is what the company wants to do, the article adds.

“There aren’t many retailers offering this yet, but the awareness is growing and the adoption of it will be growing and soon customers will want to see it,” Wynn says. “If people are a little bit of a geek at heart like me, I think they will come into our store just to use it.”
