Ace Hardware Earns Top Spot on Forbes Customer Service List

Ace Hardware recently earned the No. 1 spot on the Forbes’ 2025 Best Customer Service List in the home improvement category. This is the second year in a row the company has been named to the top of the Forbes list. 

“To be recognized again by Forbes for our customer service is a tremendous honor and a true reflection of our dedication to customers,” says Kim Lefko, chief marketing officer at Ace Hardware. “At Ace, helpfulness isn’t just a slogan, it’s a way of life. Our local store owners and red-vested heroes go above and beyond to ensure our customers receive reliable advice and quality products for their projects.”

Last year, Ace invested in its employees to continue improvements in customer service. Employees completed over 1.1 million training hours in 2024. Ace also awarded 54,000 ‘Product Knowledge’ badges last year, which allow employees to serve customers with product and customer service expertise. 

The Forbes survey assessed eligible brands on four customer service criteria: staff helpfulness, speed, services and both in-store and online problem resolution  On the overall Forbes Best Customer Service List, Ace ranked No. 34.
