The Building Center, Inc. Acquires Willingham and Sons Building Supply

The Building Center, Inc. (TBC) announced the successful acquisition of Willingham and Sons Building Supply and Septic Tank Inc., located in Newberry, South Carolina, expanding TBC’s footprint in South Carolina.

“We are extremely excited to welcome the Willingham and Sons team to The Building Center,” says Skip Norris, CEO of The Building Center, Inc. “They have built a strong reputation for service and developed lasting relationships within their community. We look forward to building on that foundation as we continue to grow in South Carolina.” 

Following this acquisition, TBC operates 14 locations across North and South Carolina, including three truss manufacturing facilities, two custom millwork operations and nine full-service lumberyards. The transaction represents the company’s seventh acquisition in the past nine years.
