Costello’s Ace Hardware recently announced the promotion of Monica Rodriguez to vice president of marketing and merchandising.
Rodriguez, who served as senior director of marketing, will now lead the company’s integrated marketing and merchandising strategy, focused on driving growth, enhancing the customer experience and strengthening vendor partnerships. In her new role, she will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Michael Costello.
“Monica has been a driving force behind the evolution of our marketing strategy and brand presence,” says Michael Costello, CEO of Costello’s Ace Hardware. “Her leadership, creativity and deep understanding of our customers and partners have consistently delivered results. This promotion reflects both her impact to date and the confidence we have in her ability to help lead Costello’s into its next phase of growth.”
Rodriguez has played a key role in advancing Costello’s digital marketing capabilities, strengthening vendor collaboration and aligning promotional efforts across all channels.

Jamie Maloney, president of Costello’s Ace Hardware, also expressed confidence in Rodriguez’s expanded leadership role.

This promotion comes at a time of continued growth for Costello’s Ace Hardware. As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the company plans to add at least four new ground-up locations in 2026, including a flagship location in New Jersey, as well as additional stores in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
