CNRG Acquires Everson’s Hardware

Deborah and Tracy Everson, owners of Everson’s Hardware in Waconia, Minnesota, have agreed to sell their business and operating assets to Orgill subsidiary Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG), a multiformat, multibrand retailer currently operating 143 hardware stores, home centers and lumber yards in 16 states. Everson’s Hardware will be rebranded and operate as part of CNRG’s Frattallone’s Hardware & Garden brand. Frattallone’s Hardware & Garden, headquartered in Arden Hills, Minnesota, operates 22 stores throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.

“After 56 years in business, we are excited to pass the store on to an organization with local leadership and long-standing ties to the local market. Frattallone’s is a strong brand with an excellent reputation. They are able to provide products, services and high-quality customer service for Waconia both now and into the future,” Everson says. “We are excited for their vision and look forward to seeing the store grow.”

The new store in Waconia will offer a full assortment of hardware, plumbing, electrical, outdoor power equipment sales and service, grilling and paint as well as an expanded garden center.

“We couldn’t be happier for this opportunity to build upon the foundation that the Eversons have built, and we look forward to expanding the store’s product and service offerings going forward. We are proud to add all Everson’s team members to the Frattallone’s team,” says Mike Frattallone, CNRG senior vice president.

“CNRG is always seeking growth opportunities, both in new markets and, as is the case here, where we can add stores complementary to one of our existing brands,” says John Sieggreen, CNRG president. “Mike Frattallone and his team have been a great addition to CNRG and we will continue to look for ways to expand their footprint in the future.”

About Frattallone’s Hardware

CNRG acquired Frattallone’s Ace Hardware in November 2021. With the acquisition of their 22 store locations, Frattallone’s became the 18th brand operated by CNRG and was rebranded to Frattallone’s Hardware & Garden. The company began in 1975, when Larry Frattallone opened his first store in Arden Hills, Minnesota, a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota. Their most recent store opened in January 2021, in Little Canada, Minnesota. The brand is known throughout the Twin Cities for its full assortment of hardware, paint, plumbing, electrical and lawn and garden supplies. Frattallone’s also operates the largest small engine repair shop in the area, servicing thousands of pieces of equipment each year.
