Ace Hardware came out on top in a survey of customers’ satisfaction with home improvement shopping experiences.
Market Force Information, a customer intelligence research company, polled about 2,000 home improvement industry shoppers, who ranked Ace first on merchandise organization, value, cleanliness, availability of eco products and checkout speed. The survey placed Ace at first for customer loyalty, based on the study findings.
Menards came in second for customer loyalty, and was the only retailer that consumers ranked higher than Ace in a survey category, topping Ace on merchandise selection.
The rankings for overall customer loyalty had Lowe’s in third place, The Home Depot in fourth and Wal-Mart last.
