Do you have big goals for your business in 2015? The beginning of the New Year is a great time to refocus on both personal and business goals.
If you haven’t started crafting any resolutions for your business yet, check out the list of suggestions from an article in USA Today for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
- Focus on returning customers. Pay attention to the repeat customers you see on a weekly basis. These are the people that contribute substantially to your business over time.
- Limit time on social media. While having an online presence in social media is important, make sure to set time limits to avoid spending extended periods of time on the computer or phone. Set aside 30 minutes tops per day—and then schedule posts throughout the day through websites like Hootsuite.
- Hire quality employees. If your business is in need of a few extra hands, take the time to find good, quality employees who can help build the business.
- Keep learning. Make sure to stay ahead of the competition by attending markets and conferences and consistently striving to learn and grow in the home improvement industry.
- Check financial statements. Do not hesitate to look into financial reports. Keep an eye on business finances and spend at least 30 minutes a week reviewing them.
