4 Home Improvement Companies Make RIS Top 100 Retailers List

For the fifth year, RIS has partnered with wRatings to put together its list of Top 100 Retailers. In 2022, four home improvement retailers made the cut, including the Home Depot, which took the fifth spot. The ratings show what percentage of market share each retailer holds and highlights overall sales and how each company is investing funds into future growth. 

The Home Depot owns 3.34 percent of the retail share of the market, which amounts to $151 billion in sales. The company claimed 50.84 percent of the building supply segment. 

Other home improvement industry retailers making the RIS Top 100 list include Lowes at No. 11 with 2.13 percent of the retail market, Sherwin-Williams at No. 25 with 0.44 percent of market share and Tractor Supply Company at No. 38 with 0.28 percent. 

The other top five retailers included Amazon, CVS Health, Costco and Walmart at No. 1.
