HDW Reports Record Sales Increase at Annual Fall Market

Hardware Distribution Warehouses, Inc. CEO and President Kenneth R. Beauvais reports record sales increases during the recent Fall Market held Sept. 6-8 at the Shreveport Convention Complex in Shreveport, La.

This year’s market theme was “Bonanza of Savings.”  HDW dealers, vendors and associates comprised the more than 1,000 people attending the three-day event, which began Sept. 6 and set a new weekend sales record.

Beauvais said HDW experienced an increase of more than 20 percent in sales during the weekend event compared to last year’s event.

“These results continue to show steady economic improvement and growth in our region,” he said. “We were especially pleased to see managers/owners of more than 40 new dealer partners in attendance over the weekend.”

Retailers in attendance representing more than 300 stores took advantage of special purchases, educational seminars, new product information and more than 220 vendor booths.

HDW also announced it will be holding its spring market in Little Rock, Ark. for the first time. The event will be held Jan. 24-26 at the Little Rock Convention Center.
