Do it Best Names Allison Flatjord VP of Marketing and E-Commerce

Do it Best is aligning two key divisions, marketing and e-commerce, under the leadership of Allison Flatjord. This alignment marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance its digital presence in the ever-evolving marketplace.

Flatjord will now serve as the company’s vice president of marketing and e-commerce. Flatjord has led the e-commerce division as vice president for the last year. She brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and e-commerce at national online retailers and Fortune 500 companies.

“Allison’s deep understanding of e-commerce, marketing and brand building make her the ideal choice to lead these combined divisions,” says president and CEO Dan Starr. “Under her guidance, we are confident that Do it Best and our member-owners will continue to thrive in a highly competitive landscape.”

Flatjord’s accomplishments in her previous role include launching a best-in-class e-commerce platform, migrating hundreds of member-owner microsites and growing e-commerce sales.

In her new role, Flatjord will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing while maintaining a focus on online sales and integrating digital strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

“I am thrilled to take on this new challenge and to continue contributing to the success of Do it Best and our members,” Flatjord says. “The merging of marketing and e-commerce reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our members and their customers in a digital-first world. I look forward to leading this talented team and driving innovation.”

The consolidation is expected to bring a more cohesive approach to marketing and e-commerce while prioritizing the customer journey and fostering growth in both areas.
