Prior to the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) State of the Independents Conference, the association is hosting the second annual Women’s Leadership Roundtable on Dec. 6 in Chicago.
This event provides an opportunity for women in leadership positions across the independent home improvement industry to share their take on current issues, discuss best practices and share new ideas.
The roundtable is part of the NRHA Retail Leadership Institute’s commitment to providing places and opportunities for retailers from all affiliations and backgrounds to network and learn from each other and other channel partners.
“My greatest takeaway from the event was meeting new people in the industry who are facing the same problems and getting some great ideas on how to fix them or at least make them better,” says Chrissy Busscher, 2016 roundtable attendee and owner of Picton Home Hardware in Picton, Ontario. “I gained great ideas to implement in our store to improve everyday operations.”
