Walmart recently announced in a letter to employees the company plans to offer coverage for over 250 prescription medications, including GLP-1s for diabetes, for its employees in 2027. New benefits will also be added for employees being evaluated or diagnosed with ALS, Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis, and employees will be able to take up to 12 weeks of paid neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) leave.
“We’re adding even more ways to help you and your family live better through comprehensive and affordable healthcare and benefits,” says Donna Morris, Walmart chief people officer, in the letter.
Annual Enrollment for employees is available now through Nov. 6.
