The labor force participation rate in February was reported at 62.0% and the employment-population ratio was 59.3%, both showing little change from January. The number of unemployed people in February was 7.6%.
The healthcare sector saw the largest job loss due to strike activity. The construction sector lost 11,000 jobs in February and the unemployment rate in the sector was 6.9%.
