Trex Named to Newsweek’s Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2026 List

Trex Company announced it has been named to Newsweek’s Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2026 list.

Presented by Newsweek in partnership with Statista Inc., the Most Trustworthy Companies in America list recognizes U.S.-based companies that have earned strong trust among customers, employees and investors based on independent research and public sentiment. The 2026 list includes 700 companies across 23 industries. In the construction category, which includes a broad range of organizations spanning contractors, manufacturers and building products providers, Trex ranked No. 2 out of the 15 recognized companies and is the only decking brand to earn a spot on the list.

The honor follows Trex being named America’s Most Trusted Decking Brand for the sixth consecutive year and the recognition on Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies 2024 list.

“At Trex, trust is at the core of everything we do, from the way we design and manufacture our products to how we support our customers, partners and employees,” says Bryan Fairbanks, president and CEO of Trex Company. “Being recognized by Newsweek as one of the most trustworthy companies in America is a meaningful validation of our commitment to integrity, consistency and long-term performance.”

The Newsweek rankings are based on an independent survey of 25,000 U.S. residents, who submitted more than 101,000 evaluations of companies headquartered in the U.S. with annual revenues of at least $500 million. Participants assessed organizations across three dimensions: customer trust, investor trust and employee trust.

“Earning the trust of our stakeholders requires a continuous focus on accountability, innovation and doing what’s right,” Fairbanks says. “We are proud to be recognized alongside other leading organizations and remain committed to building on this foundation of trust for years to come.”
