Tractor Supply Company recently announced the opening of its 2,400th store in Aiken, South Carolina. The new store is one of four Tractor Supply locations to host a grand opening within the first two weeks of 2026.
“At Tractor Supply, everything starts with the communities we serve and the customers who rely on us every day,” says John Ordus, Tractor Supply’s chief stores officer. “With its deep-rooted horse culture, enduring sense of community and passion for Life Out Here, we are honored to mark our 2,400th store right here in Aiken and are excited to welcome our neighbors.”
The new store is a counterpart to an existing Tractor Supply location that has been in Aiken since 2004. Aiken is recognized as a community with rich equestrian heritage, offering opportunities to raise, ride, train and shop for all things equine.
The grand opening celebration on Friday, Jan. 9, Tractor Supply store manager John Barbato and district manager Larry Wood joined Aiken Chamber of Commerce representatives for a ribbon-cutting. On Saturday, Jan. 10, the store invited the Aiken community to browse the store and enjoy an antique tractor show, face painting and a petting zoo. Tractor Supply also presented Aiken Equine Rescue, the largest horse rescue center in the southeastern United States, with $2,400 to support its important work rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for abused or neglected horses.
