The Helpful Hardware Company Expands in South Carolina

The Helpful Hardware Company (HHC), a network of Ace-branded hardware stores in the Southeast, announced the acquisition of Jordan’s Ace Hardware in Union, South Carolina. This marks the company’s 20th location in the region.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan’s Ace Hardware to the HHC family,” says David Enmark, CEO of The Helpful Hardware Company. “This store is a natural fit for our platform and mission to deliver outstanding service through locally focused, well-supported Ace Hardware stores across the Southeast.”

HHC partners with local store teams in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee to strengthen neighborhood hardware retail. The acquisition was supported by JPB Partners, a private equity firm that has backed HHC since 2019.

“JPB Partners has been instrumental in enabling our growth,” Enmark says. “Their partnership gives us the financial strength and strategic flexibility to grow thoughtfully and at scale—all while keeping the customer and community at the center.”
