Since 2019, Sunshine Ace Hardware has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to support children in need. Last holiday season, Sunshine Ace raised $57,605 to support the organization.
During an eight-week fundraiser last November and December, customers at any Sunshine Ace or Crowder Bros. Ace location in Southwest Florida could choose to round up their purchase totals or donate a chosen amount at the register to contribute to the cause.
“Our customers and associates always step up to support charitable causes, whether it’s pediatric health care, water quality, youth programs or other initiatives,” says Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “What’s incredible about our Holiday Round Up is that donations come a nickel, dime or quarter at a time, proving the collective power of our community’s generosity truly can make a difference in the lives of local children and families.”
Donations across Sunshine Ace Hardware locations support multiple children’s hospitals across Southwestern Florida. Funds contributed to Children’s Miracle Network help patients and families cover medical costs, fund education programs for patients and equip hospitals to purchase life-saving equipment for innovative treatment.
