One of 13 locations for Stine Home + Yard, the Pineville store has expanded to serve DIY and home improvement customers. The Pineville Stine Home + Yard has operated mainly as a lumberyard since 2021, following the company’s purchase of the former Martin Building Materials.
Stine Home + Yard CEO Dennis Stine says leadership opted to add other popular offerings to the store that Stine is known for in order to serve the DIY and home improvement customers as well.
The store hosted a grand opening celebration on May 3 and 4 with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, hourly door prizes and delicious food, including jambalaya, hot dogs, popcorn, cake and drinks.
The interior of the store was completely reset in order to expand inventory, adding nearly 20,000 new product offerings. The Pineville Stine now includes three new departments: appliances, grilling and outdoor power equipment.
“We’re excited to expand our offerings to customers in the Alexandria and Pineville area,” says Jenny Stine, director of merchandising. “Customers can now shop for major appliances for their kitchen and laundry room as well as grills for outdoor cooking.”
