SRS Distribution Inc. recently announced its acquisition of Sider Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Nesconset, New York, Sider Lumber is owned and operated by Frank and Joe Sider, 2nd and 3rd generation owners. Frank plans to retire at closing and Joe will continue to lead the business going forward. Frank and Joe collectively commented on the acquisition:
