RONA Appoints New President and Chief Executive Officer

RONA inc. recently announced the appointment of Alain Ménard as president and chief executive officer, succeeding J.P. Towner, who will serve on RONA’s board of directors. These changes will take effect on Oct. 1, 2026.

J.P. and Alain will continue to work closely together to sustain the momentum built in recent years and support RONA’s next phase of growth.

Alain Ménard will take the helm of RONA with a focus on sustaining the momentum of recent years and advancing the company’s strategy. He will draw on his extensive retail experience, deep knowledge of the affiliated dealer model and strong understanding of RONA’s operations and culture. Since joining RONA in January 2024 as senior vice president, RONA Affiliated Dealers, he has built strong relationships across the organization.
