Over the course of three days, Wallace Distributing Co. members came together for product discovery, hot deals and the chance to reconnect and socialize with fellow retailers over snacks and meals at the Wallace 2023 Fall Market. The market was well-attended and included attendee favorites and some new features, such as the Wallace Sales Bus, displaying a wide variety of deeply discounted dealer specials.

“The Wallace 2023 fall market’s great attendance showcased its popularity among both vendors and dealers, creating a vibrant atmosphere,” says Max Wind from MBA Marketing. “What makes Wallace markets truly stand out are the thoughtful extra touches, such as the availability of snacks like popcorn and ice cream, which never fail to enhance the overall market experience. The genuine friendliness of vendors and Wallace staff makes everyone feel welcome. We look forward to being back again in the spring.”

Breakfast Buys kicked off the market with a delicious breakfast meal and special deals available to market attendees.

“The ‘Together We Stand’ fall dealer market was well attended,” says Ed McKinney, vice president of purchasing for Wallace Distributing. “We also feed our customers well, give them opportunities to win cash and prizes, entertain them with special talented guests and host Learn and Earn seminars so they can get information on changes and opportunities in the market. The show is a great place to catch up with old friends and learn about new concepts and products while saving money and growing profits. It is a family reunion twice a year.”

Another crowd favorite, the Big 5 Prize giveaway delighted winners with exciting prizes, sponsored by over 80 vendors. Attendees earned one ticket for every $1,000 purchased at sponsoring vendor booths. This year’s grand prize was a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, which went to the Nolt family from Pennsylvania. Second prize was $5,000 and third prize was a $2,500 credit for stock or merchandise or a $5,000 store reset credit. Fourth prize was a Whirlpool kitchen ensemble, including refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave and fifth prize was a Generac GB1000 Powerstation and 100-watt solar panel.

“People make a show special,” says Wallace Distributing president Doyle M. Wallace. “Getting to talk with visiting customers and vendors and to catch up on what’s going on in their world makes the show special. With the economy still being fairly good, we were encouraged by the level of buying by dealers.”
