Hosted right in the North American Hardware and Paint Association’s (NHPA) backyard, the Do it Best and True Value 2025 Fall Market maxed out the space at the Indiana Convention Center with nearly 11,000 attendees. Hardware Retailing managing editor Lindsey Thompson, news and digital editor Jacob Musselman and content development coordinator Annie Palmer explored the convention center floor, looking for new and exciting products. Here’s what they found:
To-Go Collection | Topl
With Topl drinkware, sip from any angle with the 360° lid, then twist to adjust the flow—the silver band shows when it’s open. A transparent splash shield keeps the drink contained and shows exactly how much is left. It’s airtight, leakproof and the lid comes apart in seconds for a deep clean. Topl is insulated for hot or cold drinks, dishwasher safe and made from recycled stainless steel, offered in four sizes and nine colors.
“The product had the biggest buzz on the market floor; so many retailers I talked to said I had to check it out, and when I did, I was impressed. I didn’t think there was anything new that could come out in the water bottle market, but Topl did it. The 20-ounce version retails for $39.95, so it’s right on track with other brands in the space.” —Lindsey
Houseplant Chunky Mix | Sol Soils
Houseplant Chunky Mix is an all-purpose potting mix that contains the most organic matter of all Sol Soils’ products to ensure that houseplants get all the moisture and drainage they need to thrive. The Chunky Mix is perfect for jungle plants or aroids and also recommended for the ever-popular winter indoor plant, the Easter Cactus. This mix utilizes recycled coconut chips and coir, an otherwise wasted byproduct of the coconut industry.
“This product addresses common problems many ‘plant parents’ experience, like root rot and other overwatering issues. Sol Soil is an ideal solution for anyone looking to boost their green thumb. This makes taking care of any house plant super easy and is a great option for a garden center.”—Annie
Original Warmies | Warmies
Warm, weighted and lavender-infused, Warmies are adorable stuffed animals that can be microwaved for warmth and are weighted to relieve stress, filled with natural grains and French lavender. Each Warmies has a child-safe design that exceeds CPSC standards and promotes easier bedtimes and better quality sleep.
“If there was a close second for the most-talked about product on the market floor, it would be Warmies. I have seen these before, they aren’t new, but they continue to come out with new, adorable designs—see the Quokka—and Warmies has partnered with several companies to create collabs with licensed brands. They are adorable, they are soft, they smell great…perfect gift!” —Lindsey
Hot Honey Squeeze Bottle | Farmer Dan’s
The new Chili Pepper Honey features pure honey and selected chilies, providing a balanced harmony of heat and sweet in every bite.
“You really can’t go wrong with hot honey—it’s good on practically everything. With tons of hot honey on the market, I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but Farmer Dan’s has a perfect ratio of spicy to sweet notes.”—Annie
MultiPail
“This bucket is truly one of the most innovative products I saw at the show. The bucket has a spout on one side and a flat side for sweeping up dust or rolling paint. We even tested the rolling component at another booth and it fit the largest roller they offered. Plus, more improvements and accessories are coming soon!”—Jacob
Seasoning Salt | Livia’s
Livia’s Seasoning Salt makes creating delicious meals easy. Livia’s versatility and timeless recipe are great for anything that uses salt and pepper. Using the key three ingredients of kosher salt, coarse-ground pepper and garlic, Livia’s is your secret ingredient in the kitchen and at the grill.
“When I cook, I keep it pretty simple and my go-to spices are always just salt and paper and garlic salt. Livia’s Seasoning Salt combines my three favorites in one seasoning and will be great on burgers, chicken, vegetables, pretty much anything I want to cook or grill.” —Lindsey
Windchill 47 Cooler + Mobile A/C | Solo Stove
The new Solo Windchill 47 isn’t just a cooler—it’s a category-defining innovation with built-in A/C and misting to stay cool all summer long. It holds up to 65 cans, retains ice for days and runs Max A/C cooling for over 3 hours per charge. At the push of a button, it turns icy temps inside the cooler into frigid, dry air-conditioning—thanks to a built-in heat exchanger, high-powered fan and water pump.
“Like drinkware, I didn’t think coolers could get any cooler—yes, pun totally intended—but this new variation from Solo Stove is definitely a hot pick. The cooler doubles as an air-conditioner for those dog days of summer.” —Lindsey
GrillGrate FlavorZone | GrillGrate
The GrillGrate is a 15-inch universal cover for gas, pellet or charcoal grills. The grate provides better, more consistent heat while blocking flare-ups to cook more flavorful food. The design of the grate vaporizes food drippings and juices, allowing meat to retain moisture. Made with hard-anodized aluminum, these grates won’t rust and can be used on most grill tops.
“As somebody who enjoys cooking outside on a variety of devices, this tool seems like the perfect fit for any home cook. The grates feel very well made and provide an extra layer of protection from the flame.” —Jacob
Bee Pontoon | Trimyxs
The Bee Pontoon from Trimyxs gives pollinators the ability to stay hydrated without having to worry about falling into the water. With multiple designs, the Bee Pontoon comes in a variety of shapes and can be placed in bird baths or five-gallon buckets.
“I love bees, and I love that I now know they need to drink water! I have a large garden at my house and would love to add this to the landscape so I can attract all the pollinators I can.” —Jacob

The Tarigrade from Rugged Road is a hybrid backpack made for outdoor enthusiasts looking to keep their items dry, and food cold. The backpack is made from a puncture-proof, waterproof shell, and includes a cooler insert. This backpack also boasts a 31-liter carrying capacity and is fully submersible when properly rolled up.
