Porch.com Has a New Competitor

Pro.com, a Seattle-based startup, is a platform where professionals can place bids and homeowners can request quotes on home improvement projects. It was launched in May and is being funded by investors such as Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. According to an article from Lawn Inc., “the site connects users with professionals in their area and provides them with instant price quotes for projects based on their needs and preferences.”

Due to the growth in the home improvement industry, new startups and service databases are surfacing. Porch.com and Houzz.com, competitors of Pro.com, are all focused on connecting homeowners with service professionals while providing transparency on cost and the professionals’ reviews. These news platforms will allow your customers to find reliable contractors and professionals in your area.
