Eugene True Value opened in downtown Eugene in 1925, founded by Lucy White’s family, the MacLarens. Lucy and her husband, Terry White, bought the store from Lucy’s father in 1981, and today, their son, Doug, helps lead day-to-day operations.
“It’s an honor to carry forward the tradition my parents and grandparents built,” says Doug White, assistant store manager. “We’ll continue delivering the friendly service and expertise Eugene has counted on for 100 years—while we keep evolving to meet today’s needs.”
