NRHA to Host Third Annual Women’s Leadership Roundtable

The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) is hosting a gathering for female leaders in the independent home improvement sector to share ideas and discuss current business issues and best practices.

The third annual Women’s Leadership Roundtable is slated for Dec. 5 in Chicago, preceding the 2018 NRHA State of Independents Conference.

“The Women’s Leadership Roundtable is a tremendous opportunity for industry women to engage with various points of view in a thoughtful discussion,” says Jamie Gentner, chief operating officer of Center Hardware in San Francisco and a past roundtable participant.  “It’s a lively, organic conversation and brings together varied participants, including vendors, store owners and managers, from throughout the industry. You are in a room with women who can relate to your issues, big or small.”

The event is part of the NRHA Retail Leadership Institute’s commitment to providing opportunities for retailers from all wholesale affiliations and backgrounds to network and learn from each other.

“I came back to our store energized with great ideas and confidence because of the support shared in that room,” Gentner says. “I am very much looking forward to this year’s roundtable because of the unique format.”
