NRHA Offers Retailers Business Tools for Success

The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) represents and provides business tools for all independent hardware stores, home centers and lumberyards regardless of wholesale affiliation. If your retail operation fits into one of those categories, NRHA offers you a wide variety of programs and resources. Are you taking advantage of all of these opportunities?

Your association provides educational resources, industry research, the ability to have your voice heard in the industry and opportunities to engage with other independent retailers and channel partners, including the following:

Employee Training

NRHA provides all retailers access to multiple training resources, including its Train the Trainer Guide, Trainer’s Toolbox, in-depth online programs and many downloadable resources on topics like merchandising, selling skills, operations and more.

Industry Research

NRHA is committed to conducting proprietary research to keep retailers informed on the state of the industry and provide the data they need to be successful. The association firmly believe that retailer voices are most important, and utilizes its members to gather metrics and opinions through the NRHA Retailer Research Panel.

Industry Events

NRHA hosts several events throughout the year, and many of them are free for retailers to attend. Stay tuned for information on the 2017 State of Independents Conference, 2018 NRHA All-Industry Conference or one of NRHA’s many roundtable events.

Business Services

NRHA partners with professional organizations to connect independent retailers to human resources, payroll processing, health insurance and other service providers. These business services programs are designed specifically with retailers’ needs in mind.
